March 23, 2020 - Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, many parents are struggling with childcare. Not only are parents who work in vital sectors often in need of a babysitter for their children, but parents who work from home and single parents may also often find themselves in need of a babysitter. This is why we want to give our community the best support possible.

By adopting the guidelines from The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), we aim to provide the best possible advice to our community. During this time physical babysitting work is permitted but with additional measures.

For a good overview of the current situation and updates regarding COVID-19 nationwide, visit this page: https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/2019-novel-coronavirus-infection.html.

For specific guidelines per region, we suggest that you follow this page from the Canadian Government, linking to different provincial and territorial guidelines and resources.

We ask that our community follow the advice and adhere to our policy of safe babysitting in times of social distance. For questions you can contact our customer service.

For parents and babysitters who no longer want physical babysitting / babysitting work due to the coronavirus crisis, we have started two new features, namely remote babysitting and online homework assistance.
