I have two little boys, ages 7 and 5, who I homeschool. You would sometimes have both, and sometimes just my younger one. My husband works from home about half the time, so would sometimes be home, but working. I would also sometimes be home, sometimes out. We have just received FSCD funding for my 5 year old. He is anxious, and struggles particularly with separation anxiety. He is diagnosed gifted, and also shows some sensory issues (in particular, smells and tastes), and demand avoidant behaviours (he is easily overwhelmed and struggles with "demands" being placed on him). He needs someone who can be gentle and respectfully work with him. He is a lovely child- loving, sweet, and very funny. I am looking to find someone who can work with him long term- I would like to start with a few hours a week, and then sometimes there would be additional. In September, my dream would be for you to attend forest school with him to offer him emotional support- he has never been able to do an unparented class of any type, and I'm hoping you would be able to provide an emotional stepping stone for him. This would involve being available during the daytime for five hours one day/week through September-October- please only apply if this is a possible option for you. Thank you!
